Offensive/blast

These hand grenades are usually classed as offensive weapons because the effective casualty radius is much less than the distance it can be thrown, and its explosive content works better within more confined spaces. Offensive hand grenades are designed to deliver a blast effect, wich gives an intensive shock effect with a very limited number of fragments. These hand grenades are specifically designed for use in closed rooms, such as bunkers, buildings or semi-closed areas such as trenches. These grenades might also be used for light wall and door breaching and clearing of IEDs. Compared to fragmentation grenades, the explosive filler is usually of a greater weight and volume, and the case/body is much thinner.
